Another vote in favour of temporary drag-out radials during planning - I have a clutter of user waypoints defined for this purpose which I'd love to delete!

I agree for planning purpose this could be quite fine.

it would still be nice to be able to drag a reference line out of a VOR for projected turn points. .

I agree this would be a good feature when planning on the PC

The option is only available in navigation or simulation modes and is not available on the PC.

Hmmm.. I don't seem to have that option on my iPad, I'll have to check my PC. I am up to date.

*edit* Ok, I found it. I have to be navigating to see that option. I guess that works for me, at least I can see which radial I am on now. But it would still be nice to be able to drag a reference line out of a VOR for projected turn points. Just an idea. Thanks for pointing out the Track Waypoint function.

Doesn't the Track Waypoint function suffice? Long press on the VOR and the What's Here popup appears. Tap the VOR in the list to select it and then select Track Waypoint. The position report just below the top of the screen will then provide a continuous update of your position in relation to the VOR and the radial that you are on.

Just throwing this out there for consideration:

It would be great to be able drag a couple radials out from nearby VORs and have them remain on the map however far I drag them out for visual reference, maybe with a little tag that shows the radial in degrees? For deroutements this would be very helpful; I find myself wishing I had this feature available to me quite often.
